This is my new favorite strain. It's very strong, even for an experienced user like myself. Just a few hits and I feel it in my head every time (even though a lot of strains require me to smoke multiple bowls to get any effect). I use medicinal marijuana for a few reasons - PTSD and pain being the primary two. I have had a hard time finding a strain that helps both problems at the same time. However, Sunset Sherbert is versatile! It eases my panic after a nightmare or flashback, helps me sleep, crushes any pain, and eases heavier feelings like depression. I can smoke this and go to sleep if I'm tired, or I can smoke this and go for a walk and be productive if I'm not. A must buy!
Oh my God! New favorite, hands down all the way to the floor, melting into a sweet puddle of sparkly kittens with heart-shaped noses.
Sunset Sherbet Review - 36.5/50
March 21, 2016
Summary: A very good-looking slightly indica-dominant hybrid with a floral orange blossom and honeysuckle terpene profile offers a moderate intensity head high and a mild-to-moderate intensity body high.
Brand: Harmony Farms
Weight: 3.5 grams
Harvest Date: 1/22/2016
Packaging Date: Unknown
Total THC ( + THC): 23.22%
Total CBD: 0.76%
Eye: 9/10
Light, yellowish-green, moderately dense buds of tiny, teardrop-shaped calyxes, with bright orange pistils, and frosted with mostly clear trichomes. Medium-high calyx:leaf ratio and trimmed quite well.
Nose (/2): 7.25/10
Aromatic Intensity: 7.5/10
Aromatic Quality (subjective to my palate): 7/10
Notes: Moist earth hits the nose first, followed by orange blossom and honeysuckle. A little chlorophyll.
Tongue (/2): 6.25/10
Flavor Intensity: 5.5/10
Flavor Quality: 7/10
Notes: Tastes very floral. The orange blossom and honeysuckle are complemented by a subtle rose water flavor. More like a delicate baklava than sunset sherbet to me, but the flavors are somewhat similar. As I get deeper into the bowl, a slightly off, greasy charcoal flavor interrupts the pleasantness. I would recommend taking tiny "snap" rips of this one. Very unique.
Head: 8/10
Notes: Instant moderate-intensity mind-shift and sense-heightening. Excellent focus.
Body: 6/10
Notes: A little energy boost and mild physical euphoria, accompanied by a very slight calming of my gastrointestinal tract and some mild forehead pressure. Feeling a little lazy. This hybrid leans slightly indica in the couch-lock department.
Taste was alright on this particular cut. The smell was slightly fruity and pungent in its own respect. The high was perfect for a late night smoke. No anxiety or paranoia, just a really calm and mellow, chill smoke.
Highly recommend for those looking to relax or pass out.
I love this strain. Excellent strain for sex drive. Goes well too with wine port.

Most certainly a valuable strain for several of the beneficial effects such as moderate pain relief, mood stabilization (with caution), libido enhancer, euphoric creativity with almost no munchies or sluggish hangover. All of these of course could vary from person to person with different levels of effectiveness. In my experience this is a social strain in and out making it perfect for stoning two birds with one nugget.
An example would be a day when it was necessary to accomplish a task for any extended period of time with an physical ache. This flower is so pretty to look at that even the non pot smoker can find peace of mind just gazing. The medium green which is the color of inside of a pickle is woven throughout oranges & purples in a mesh of eye pleasing gumball sized dankness. The visual display so grand that the coating of crystals almost can go unnoticed if not for leaving the nug container coated like a blizzard hit.
Also a nice way to turn that frown upside down the buzz is uplifting. Did not hit me like an indica for the majority of being high until the comedown was upon me in which case head hit pillow quick. So proceed with caution if depression or bipolar issues exist because this does have a sharp, quick mood shift. This is great when going into the high, but when coming out can exasperate any severe downer issues. Luckily though not for long since a good sleep seems to clear away the foggy, grey waking next day fresh.
If you lack the spark for multiple rounds of tapping the ass this will help for sure. Got a strong sense of Chemdawg in the taste and from my experience with that flower it is a horny weed. Among all the flavors that would be the stand out (a little gassy), but where ever that sweetness comes from is what makes this terpene profile special. Kind of like Cherry Pie with a musky whatever? Or say you are horny as a dog in heat, but shy without a warm body to press daily like the newspaper. Sunset Sherbert will help in that arena also being a more gregarious herb. Lubes up the communication so we can lube up the rest. Thoughtful =). Not at all your typical indica leaning strain which I appreciate.
I have smoked many strains throughout my life. This has to be in my top 5 all time strains.
My wife was feeling extremely depressed all day and she had me pick a few grams worth after work. When I got home, I can tell she was feeling awful. I cleaned our bong which has 3 percolators and loaded a nice size nug into the bowl piece. We both got two hits each and the effects were almost immediate. We both experience whole body relaxation and I could see the smile grow on her face. This weed is a true mood relief strain.
We ended up smoking half a gram for the night. We never felt overwhelmed but instead felt connected, desired and happy.
I highly recommend this strain.
Head high, body high, cerebral, and no munchies!
Although it has any indica qualities, I wouldn't smoke this right before bed. Gives you an initial jolt energy and although it mellows out traces of the energy stay present. Perfect for happy hour.
