Dispensary 33 – Andersonville Chicago (Medical & Recreational)

I selected D33 to be our target for first day rec sales...history in the making! Based on my research they seemed to be the most experienced with a great reputation. They also communicated enough their intentions for the day and having full stock. Knowing that all dispensaries were going to be overloaded we set to get there early enough and were in line at 5:45am. We had a great time with everyone in line meeting people from all over and sharing laughs and experiences. At 9:03 we checked into their texting service then hung at SoFo for warmth, drinks, and fun. 11:08 we got the text to line up at D33. Once inside, the lobby check-in ran smooth then we were ushered into the sales room. I had a great associate help me select all my varied goodies and answered all my questions while offering opinion and solid advice. Knowing how many hours they prepped and had to go that day (yet let alone forward for awhile) their vibe was great inside all around and everyone seemed to be working well as a team. We left D33 by noon with our sweet totes full of goodies. All told it was a 6 hour adventure and was a great experience making history with you. You're not my local but I will definitely stop in again when in the area and everything normalizes. Thanks!

The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They helped me apply for my MMJ card, and by the next day I had my temporary card and could start shopping. Everything there is top quality, and the shop is sunny and quiet, very clean and calm feeling. The staff has good advice and recommendations for relief from different symptoms, and seem happy to share their knowledge. And they have free gram joints for new patients.

I have purchased from Dispensary 33 a few times as they are closest to my home. All I can say is that in some areas they have gotten better, but they lack any true understanding of medical patients needs and just want you to preorder and get out. There is no more conversation about what would be best for a customer as well as just an overall understanding that they are a business to serve the customer but the other way around. I have moved on from them as after the fifth time of poor service that includes screwing up my preorders and found better shops elsewhere.

Walking in is like stepping into a luxurious jewelry store. All the displays are clean, visible, and clearly marked and the staff is extra courteous and knowledgeable.

The folks who helped me were super informative and very friendly. The disposable vape and strain of flower I picked up were top-notch. Definitely helped me forget about my shoulder injury. Looking forward to my next visit. I will say if you're looking for a boatload of strains this isn't that type of shop but the flower/concentrates looked great.

Very nice staff! Omar (security) watched my bike for me! made things very easy and smooth with an overwhelming line of people coming and going. Budtender Zach (I think) was very helpful with making a selection within my budget. Managers are great and accommodating. My only recommendation is to have pricing online. Great place!

The best dispensary for rec users on the north side. Roughly 8,000 times faster than Sunnyside's ridiculous two-store situation. Very fast and in-out, all the employees seem to be pretty chill 20-somethings who use recreationally too and it makes for a nice experience. I have never asked questions because i do my research beforehand (on Leafly) so i cannot attest to in-person service but their website is easy to navigate and pre-order from. At off-peak times I'm in and out in under 10 mins. Lines are much shorter than in Wrigleyville, too.

I wish there were more selections...... overall good atmosphere! Security kept ppl safe! Currently smoking a 3.5 of Rollins watching the nba finals 😱

I bought an 8th of flower. I though its sure not much so i weighed it and it came to 2.3 grams. I found the same flower reviewed online that weighed 3.52 grams. You can easily tell i was shorted so either the company is shorting what they send to the dispenser or someone helped there self to a third of my 8th. 900$ an oz is what that would cost.

I have only started going to D33 in Jan. '20 as a recreational customer. I was I had been wanting a medical card for a while and they were able to help me find a doctor and from then on I was Medical. Best decision ever. Although, I do feel like some of the stass wasn't very knowledgeable for what product would ease the symptoms I was having. Other than that, everyone was super friendly and helpful and it became like my local "bud bar" in a sense. But, as they grew, and especially with covid- that warmth and closeness kind of stopped. And I also found myself waiting while rec customers were being helped, when it used to prioritize medical. Then I found a certain product I fell in love with, but they ran out pretty quick. I saw Sunnyside had it and decided to switch (sometime in June) and only recently went back because of their extended hours. To be honest, I LOVE D33 and I hope some things go back to "normal" once covid is under control. This place has better Medical prices than Sunnyside, but their limited product supply for the things I love most are the only things that get me. It would be great if they had a larger selection for edibles. As it gets colder though, I am very excited for the Hot Cocoa with marshmallows to return 🥰

Easily the best Dispensary in Chicago!

This place doesn’t give a fuck or prioritize it’s medical patients. I thought i’d give them benefit of the doubt and go there a couple times and each time terrible patient interactions and rude. This place is a fucking joke and shouldn’t have medical if they aren’t going to treat patients like cash cows

First two times I visited were ok eventhough they were under construction. Today was my third visit. Once inside there were two agents that appeared to be available yet let me stand there until the third agent became available. I waited to be acknowledged by anyone but was not. I finally approached one and she's like "did you place an order online?" I replied "no". She says "oh". I ask for recommendations she turns her tablet to let me choose. I place my order and she writes my pickup number on my receipt. I enter another part of the store and the person handling off peples orders says a number but it isn't mine. She keeps repeating the number waiting for someone to pick up. I am the only one standing there. I walk up and ask to see if she misread and turns out she did saying "oh this happens often". She looks at my receipt and finally hands me a bag and says bibs me goodbye. Didn't go over my purchase with as normally done so I empty the bag as she stands there and says nothing else. One thing about me is I don't care how good your product or prices may be. If your customer service is crap and I have to practically beg to be acknowledged, get a recommendation or have friendly service then just will take my money elsewhere. Going back to the herbal care center where they always treat me right.

I haven't been to other dispensaries in IL but I have been to other dispensaries and D33 is top notch. Not only are all the employees amicable and knowledgeable, but they made it easy for a novice to understand new products and learn about different strains. I don't see myself going anywhere else in Chicago
