I'm done with this place. Just stopped by for a pre-roll. First the security guard decides to check my card in the parking lot standing in the sun. Really? Thats new.
Then i sit for 10 min. When they call me I go in and there are 3 budtenders and one customer. WTF was I waiting 10 min? So I ask for one preroll of Sativa. His response: I have a 7 pack.
My response: I only have $20 I just want a preroll. Do you have anything?
His response: sorry man.
So goodbye forever to the most unfriendly dispensary in the valley. When Monarch was the ONLY dispensary in Scottsdale it was almost acceptable to have the highest prices and a snobby attitude. Thank goodness for competition.

this place is over priced and is not worth it they done even value there customers this is the worst place I have ever been at and it's was so bad there I didn't buy anything never will terrible place if I wanted to be treated less of a person and I would have just gone to my in-laws

what a horrible change. no deals whatsoever. veeeery expensive. crossing this place off my list. medmen suckage already ruining cannabis in AZ.

Unable to adjust my previous review, as I was even more disappointed when I removed the patient info sticker from one of the 2 Huxton garbage purchases. Not only was I sold garbage, I was sold garbage May 22nd that was harvested on JANUARY 1st. Almost 6 months ago this product was harvested. This would be exactly why it was crap and why I will not return. I have never seen a date older than 3 months on harvest at any of the dispensaries. This is unacceptable when there are so many better options.

As mentioned they are under construction so they’re selling out of a storage room, unlike all the spectacular photos that led me to visit to begin with. They also had no first time patient deals or deals at all. I’ve had my cars for 6 years and never been somewhere that had no deals whatsoever on flower. Anyways, fast forward. Transaction is completed. I get home with my fancy glass jars and my little voice told me to weigh my bud. Sure enough my eighths were both short. Weighing in at 3.4 each. Will not be back. Those who have just bought product I encourage you to check the package date and weigh it when you get home.

Boycotting Monarch and telling everyone I know to stop going as well. You need to bring back daily specials!!! I will go to literally any other dispensary or use delivery to avoid this place nowadays. Such a shame

Deception 101! Once again I was lied to by my budtender. I will not be coming back. When I asked, he told me that the flower I bought today was fresh and harvested in the last month. Well, when I got home and examined the labels, I saw that some was harvested on July 18th and some on September 22nd! It is almost January so a lot of the herb that I bought was harvested over 5 months ago! Not cool. And as usual, it was dry and brittle. If the dude had been honest, I wouldn't be mad. But I never get a straight answer at Monarch. And I always feel rushed. And their quality seems to go down each year. I was there in the early years when it was much better. Good-bye Monarch and good riddance!

Overpriced 2nd hand trash products this place is awful. "Medmen" are the exact opposite of what this industry need and they are not welcome here.Cashing in on the sick and reaping every cent they can along the way like vultures.

Value = negative stars. Bought an Ounce but charged for eight individual eights which cost $440 (for the shabbiest dry Grow Science weed I've ever seen). No first timer deals or deals of any type. I didn't even get a Vet or Senior discount. They also failed to return my MMJ card which required a return trip to retrieve. They might have value as a front for a penny stock scam but not as a dispensary in this market.

Its overpriced and I got flower that had the WORST trim job, and basically it was like smoking reggie all over again. DO NOT GET POISON PEBBLES. I was so disappointed in this, I wasted money because that stuff went straight into the trash.

It was way better before med men bought it out.
They got rid of all the good deals and it had a community vibe. Now it doesn’t at all.
Really high prices and most of my stuff is weighing in under what I bought. Not worth the cost.
The renovation is ridiculous.
The bags are horrible.
Talk about taking a good thing and ruining it. This place did a fine job on that!

Started out with a very friendly guy never got his name ended up with another guy and telling me Leafly only spouted lies on their site and all the information wasn’t accurate. A disappointment to see him keep looking at the tv screen to the lobby and tell me all the research I had done was for nothing. Won’t be back

The staff person I worked with was friendly and eager to work with me. Their product line was not to my liking. There was not much choice and when I asked for a particular strain, I was directed to something “like” it. I asked about lab tests and they weren’t informed about product testing. I asked about distillation methods and there were too many red flags for my liking. I walked out with product I could quantify from experience. Kiva chocolate. I would not return.

It was very predictable that medmen would be sold as soon as they started here in Arizona not even a year ago.
Now that you are selling all your locations in Arizona, are you going to have a fire sale on your dry flower or will you just burn the place down.

Guess they are too good to put up a menu. Menus help your patients get a view of whats available before they drive to you.Just some food for thought.

Call me spoiled, but one way to never get me In your doors is to have such a paltry first time deal, if any. Anything Medmen touches slowly withers away and becomes a disappointment.

This place is Okay, I only go here for their Grow Science selection. Which they should really consider putting samples out to smell and look at, its their top shelf flower and it costs over $50 for an eighth, I can’t return it if I don’t like it and looks aren’t everything. Let me smell your products !

They have an okay selection of everything you basically need. Budtenders are cool.
But for being a hugely profitable corporation, they are very skimpy with their patient deals.
I personally like a sale once in a while. I could do without all the fancy MedMen bags or zip up envelopes. Those cost alot of money, aha maybe what's why there's no discounts.....lol.

My mother, who suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia, has suffered incredible pain and discomfort for years. I began as an advocate for medicinal marijuana and other like treatments many years ago and was very pleased when it became a reality in Arizona. However, the dispensary my mother began as a patient at, did not seem to be supplying her with any sort of herbal medicines that corresponded with her specific ailments, and due to this, she became even worse off! She had less and less energy, she became unmotivated, she felt more fragile and could not participate in much physical activity including small things like even just cleaning around the house. I could tell immediately that they were just selling her random buds (not correlating with her diseases) and that she was no better off than with the rainbow of pills we have fought so hard to get her away from, I became extremely skeptical of the entire practice. In late January, I decided to search for a second chance on behalf of my mother, and spoke with an employee at Monarch, Tyler Gray, he listened to my story, and agreed to do a consultation with my mother, he studied up on her ailments and then devised a specially designed array of medicinal items that she has been using daily and apparently enjoys very much. She has extreme amounts of energy now, she has been biking 5-6 miles 3-4 days a week, she has been able to walk around her neighborhood with her dogs, she even has been helping out with chores around the house! I have not seen my mom so up and about in a long time, her physical capabilities have improved five-fold (in only a 30 day period too- how carefully devised differences can make such progress so quickly!), and for once I can tell her smile reflects a new hope for her future. I cannot express how important my mom's health is to me, and I can safely say that Monarch's employee, Tyler, made me feel as though her heath were just as important to him. I commend this wellness center, and their success in hiring such a caring and success-oriented employee.

This used to be my favorite dispensary. MedMen have completely ruined what used to be a very zen location. Prices have gone up. Selection has gone down. Customer loyalty or even a semblance of care is non-existent. This may work in south phx but not in this neighborhood. I've tried going in a few times since the takeover and it's not doable. I'd rather pay more for better quality and customer service. Sad.

I’m glad (I guess) to see that I’m not alone in the disappointment of the MedMen takeover. This was my local dispensary and LOVED the Huxton deals which are now nonexistent. Stock has been inconsistent. Specials and notifications have disappeared. My beloved Monarch has slipped into red corporate oblivion. I get that the owners got a deal they couldn’t turn down, but it’s truly upsetting to see both Monarch and LevelUp get gobbled by the system and pushed into the vacuum. I love the staff and the old Monarch employees have always been the best, but I don’t think to come here and will probably find another dispensary to get my Huxton products. Such a bummer.
