epic and never fails to impress

I thinm I've been to about all the dispensaries in the Phoenix area and this by far my favorite out of all. Not only is the staff knowledgeable but the atmosphere is something you'd expect from your grandparents home. The medicine I use often is the KR X Cannatonic and they are the only ones in the valley to carry it. I'm blessed that this place is so close to me and have everything I could ever imagine.

I have smoked some if not most of “the greats” and have grown many as well. When I saw King Louie on the dispensary menu @monarchaz, I scratched my head, (understand that as a Norcal MG and Industry guy for twenty years…) I just didn't think they had it in them to pull it off here, (more on that later in my upcoming piece "Combing Cowboy Country for Chronic…") I asked “hey is this indoor? Outdoor? Greenhouse?” …and was greeted with an IDK...until through the door came Jane who calmly looked at me and said “it's indoor and it is good”. So I promptly said I'll take an eighth. The product I got was the first time it had matched what I had smoked in Cali, and the ride was "perfect" the nose, burn, ash, buzz, everything was on the money...one of the finest...if you have the nuts to call it "King Louis (Louis Tres) be prepared to deliver...and damn if it didn't. What a great experience, enough so, that its changing the tempo of the upcoming piece I'm writing on the Arizona #mmj market... “Combing Cowboy Country for Chronic" ...which will now have to wait a few more days...because "I have" found it a few times. (and more than once at Monarch) I’ve just had to wade through a lot of horse ^%$& in Arizona to find what we call "PharmaGrade" quality (at ganjaconsulting.com | irisrx.com) over the last few months in Arizona... and I've been to and smoked just about everything you can get your hands on. (insert picture of tumbleweed here) Monarch is quickly becoming one of the (very few) "go to" places when I need PRO grown "named strains" to review and write about...Thanks again Jane for such a great dispensary. (able to match many of my favorites dispensaries in Cali), That compliment is not lightly given! I've done business for more than a 14 years out of NorCal with over a hundred Cali dispensaries...and learned my trade in Holland. Keep rocking it.

Prices are way to high. Its sad to see these state licensed places charging drug dealer prices. As these state licensed places open we loose our growing rights and are stuck with rip off pricing. So as some of you love this place remember theres a bigger picture. FYI, we dont need a clinics that looks like a hair salons and ripping people off. Also the police are sitting in unmarked cars in the area. Not cool. I also was asked to scan my drivers license when entering. Kinda makes you wonder whats going on there. Buyer beware!

The quality of the medication is excellent especially the Blue Dream. I usually don't like Blue Dream but I enjoyed it very much. The staff was very helpful and answered all of my questions. I usually take a very long time to decide which strains that I want and people usually start getting impatient with me, BUT at Monarch they had me take my time, and they explained all the strains that I was interested. Definitely coming back regularly. Not to mention the $150.00 New Patient Credit AWESOME!!!

Always love coming in, everyone is so helpful and never left any question unanswered. Always have my favorite Pineapple Express chrome stick in stock and love the whoopie pie!!

High quality flower but a little pricey. They do have good deals on specific strains but a good majority of the eighths are $50 which is quite high in the competitive market. It's close and the staff is friendly so I come mostly for the edibles.
