AYR Cannabis Dispensary - Woodbridge (Med)

Too three pros and cons to this location: Pros 1) friendly staff 2) good variety 3) clean, well lit, ample seating, modern and professional. Cons 1) pulling out of the parking lot is a hair raising event 2) prices are higher than most other places 3) the preground for one strain was very sugary and high quality, the other had more leaf material and tiny broken stems but was not terrible quality. All in all, I’d visit again. Especially for their blackwater!

Within a year huge improvement s in quality of flower. Great job cultivation team, I can truly see the hard work and passion that you out into these beautiful flowers. Just wish the top strains would be around for more then a couple of hours!!!

This place is a disaster. I have been to Apothecary, Rise and Zen Leaf. Even with dozens in line I have never waited more than 20 mins, they all have Many registers actively operating, their staff is excellent, and they’re all open until 9pm or later (and actually Take Customers until then!). I tried this place for the first time today. Ordered on line this morning with a 7:15pm pickup appointment time. The website stated they were open until 8pm, and absolutely nothing stated to come earlier than your appointment, etc. I arrived at 7:10pm and the guard told me appointments meant nothing and to get in the (Very Long) line with the walk-ins. At 7:15pm he informs us that no one is allowed in after 7:30pm (then put your flipping hours as closing at 7:30!). There was absolutely no one waiting inside, and between 7:15 and 7:30pm not a single person was let in. At 7:30pm we were sent away, and flat out lied to that NJ doesn’t allow recreational sales after 8pm. This place is an absolute crap show, completely disorganized with rude employees and zero care for their customers. I will never spend a penny in this place, and after seeing all the google reviews, they shouldn’t be allowed to keep their license.

Hands down the best in NJ

First time I ever went to a dispensary and it definitely made a good impression. The wait time, even with the office being fairly busy, was only around 5 minutes or so. The person who took care of me was extremely informative and understanding with all of my questions of which I had many. I have now tried both strains I purchased and have reacted very well to them. The deals they have on high-CBD and pre-ground material brought the prices down to what I was essentially paying before I got my card which I was extremely happy about. This may be my first dispensary and Ill have to try others but I must say for my first time this was an amazing first impression.

Garden state has nice strains but barely any available every time i want to pickup. Since Covid & even before then they only have 1 or no strains on deck. New Jersey dispos as a whole are really slacking with the service of keeping up with their strains: they really need to do better because Cali dispos makes jersey look like a joke!

No offense to the budtenders. You are just doing what you are told. Anyone who has basic knowledge on cannabis, do not take a budtenders’s advice on what to try. Do your own research. It’s a job to most of them and also a great one, if you are a person who needs easy access to medication. They are not going to recommend what they want, especially if it’s low on stock. I know not all budtenders are patients, but the ones that aren’t, are waiting for that recreational to kick in, so they have easy access and better discounts for being an employee. I am not calling them dumb, maybe smart but a bit selfish when it comes to offering advice. The budtenders that would probably do best are those who aren’t able to work in the industry due to a record.

Visited the Union location the first day it was open. Super clean and sleek with iPads and shit. Prices are high but product is solid and they had an awesome variety. Left with some purple romulan, wet dream, and Juanita.

I have been coming to GSD since I started in the NJ mmj program, well over a year now. And have always been happy with the flower, and recently purchased a Bubblegum cartridge ( this was a favored strain for me when they carried it in flower ) and have been very happy with it so far. Flavorful and potent. The staff has also always been helpful with their recommendations and advice. In the past they have had a lot of issues with keeping flower in stock. But after ugrading their growrooms to a two tier system, they seem to have been able to keep a consistent inventory of different strains.

Why would garden state change the "today's menu" way easier to access before their "upgrade

The bud is very good but he place is not run right. 10 patients in the waiting room shouldn't take 35min. On top of all that, I preorder! Lots of workers just not doing anything.

The prices on the CBD flower already include the discount but nowhere on their website or Leafly does it say that. I drove over an hour in crazy traffic and pounding rain with exactly how much I thought it was, and had to leave with nothing. If GSD includes the discount in the price already, they need to say that. That was the final straw, never returning here again. Way too pricey, and theyre vague with discounts.,

The store is well run. They just never have enough product.

Prices are too high. Never have product. Worst vape carts I've ever tried. The oil is black and in a knock off ccell cartridge. If you claim to have 30 strains but only put said strains out once or twice a year, do you really have 30 strains. Well no you don't.

I’m a new MM patient and I had my first appointment with GSD today. The process was seamless. Everyone was friendly, especially the girl behind the counter that helped me make my selections. Overall, a great experience.

Wasnt impressed.. Bubble Gum was fire.. all else fails.. waiting for them to get better inventory..

Do not go here if you have anxiety. The security out front is abusive, cruel, petty and utterly disrespectful. I’m sure the weed is fine but not worth the mental duress. NOT WORTH IT. AVOID THIS PLACE.

Never been inside since when I became a mmj patient it was already shut down and everything was curb side. It's an ok sign in and ordering system. Not the absolute worst but it can be a pain in the ass when you need to re up medication and there's no "appointments" next day because EBT members stock up and grab a whole ounce of shake for their cough syrup recipes. Which btw should be the only you buy here because the prices are outrageous and the strains havent changed in about two years. They offer a vets discount at 10% which I greatly appreciate but they never have handicap parking bc their employees take them for themselves, which I have witnessed on several occasions. The Super Lemon Haze and GMO cookies were always favorites.

I chose GSD after reading some really unpleasant experiences as far as how patients were treated. Every ATC has a few horrid reviews that you can tell aren’t valid and just angry rants, GSD seemed to have the least of those. It’s also conveniently located near a bunch of highways. I usually get their “shake” because it’s about $20 cheaper per 1/8th than flower and it’s actually just uglier smaller buds pre-ground with the kief mixed back in. You can visibly see that when it’s still stuck in a puck when they flip it upside down like Dairy Queen. Though the “shake” is ground quite fine so it has been problematic in rolling papers but great for your pipes or dry herb vapes. They currently only offer smokable only but I hear the extracts lab is expected to open before the end of the year! This place is very clean and has a nice medically professional ambiance with a semi luxurious lobby area with couches and chairs, educational binders, & menus which are updated throughout the day. Everyone there is super friendly and helpful, you definitely feel welcomed right away. The only con I would have to say about this place is that it must be so good compared to the others because I’m always meeting people from other ATCs there and people purchase meds faster than they can grow them so the menu can be finicky. Luckily they have a super user friendly website with the menu updated throughout the day, everyday! Oh and wicked prices on glass pieces!!! Definitely my main spot
