I’ve been going to this dispensary for a few years now and ended up just switching to a different one, because their medical patients aren’t their priority anymore. Their emails keep saying that medical patients will be their number one priority, but their actions say differently. I’ve been limited on how much of my medicine for months leading up to them becoming recreational because of a “shortage”. I assumed it was the same for all dispensaries. But guess what, I called around to other dispensaries who are solely medical and they don’t limit their patients at all! You can buy as much flower as you want, so I’d recommend switching to another dispensary if you don’t want to be limited to how much medicine you can buy. I have to add too that I asked a budtender for a recommendation for sleep and he told me to go with the RSO oil. I had never used it before so I was unaware of how strong it is. This guy told me to take somewhere between 1-2 tenths of it so it would equal 150 or so MG of thc. I realized after the fact that you shouldn’t tell a patient who is new to this product to take 150mg of THC!! The edibles aren’t event that much. It was a horrible 24 hours and my heart was pounding out of my chest. I woke up from a dead sleep and my heart rate was 140 bpm.....I didn’t get his name but he had brown hair and a beard. I wouldn’t take advice from another person there after that. So glad I switched.

Outstanding efforts and results on all levels at this dispensary. I have communicated in depth with four dispensaries in Illinois and Earthmed is singular in voluntarily providing compassionate care. American veterans and those that earn less because of age or infirmity are specifically welcomed with a very generous discount. Not only has Earthmed to my knowledge pioneered these discounts in medical cannabis in Illinois, but they remain the sole provider. One must congratulate them on this, amazing staff I adore, and a superlative constant supply of the full range of available cannabis products.

I’m a military veteran diagnosed with PTSD and was very unfamiliar with medical cannabis and it’s various usages. Formally I had a career that prohibited me from using medical cannabis to treat my symptoms so I never gave cannabis much thought. Prior to my first visit at Earth Med I was extremely nervous walking through the door. I didn’t know what to expect. I was greeted by Amy at the front door and she took me under her wing. She was super friendly, understanding and very knowledgeable. I immediately took a liking to her as she treated me like a long lost friend. They say that first impressions are everything and a lasting first impression I’ll have. I had such a great experience as a first timer in the medical cannabis realm and I’d definitely recommend Earth Med...especially Amy.

I have been in the marijuana program since it was finally enacted. I have investigated all of the possible dispensaries available to me. I will cut to the chase : For my needs (potency, detailed info on each particular product currently in stock, and a huge menu) Earth Med has been able to offer me what I want far better than any other dispensary within 50 miles. Plus, they are a very friendly and caring group.

Used to be a good place to find deals and a great selection. Now it’s the complete opposite. The day before recreational started I seen them turn alway customers after they limit them to 2 items per category. Some elderly lady said she drives far and it’s hard for her to come this way. She could only have edibles I believe I herd. How can earthmed turn away or limit medical users to supply the massive lines the next day for people just looking to smoke and buy recreational weed. Now today looking at the menu it says 1 as a limit. Earth Med claims that the medical and recreational inventory’s are separate. So who divides that inventory when you get the big shipment in? Simple answer when rec weed sells for a lot high price. It may be hard to prove what goes on behind closed doors at earth and I’m sure the suppliers are just as bad. Awaken

1st time but spent lots of time on leafly. I agreed w all the positives but besides being truly wonderful people, it's what they didn't do that I appreciated most: they didn't make you feel criminal! (That's AMA Drs place.) Anyway thanks to you all for a great service you provide to all!

This place is awesome, I've been going there since they opened. The staff is amazing,they are all very professional,friendly and well educated on all the newest medicine that is available to us. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was properly educated and felt comfortable. Their selection is awesome, and they seem completely dedicated to helping people feel their best.

this place is the best dispensary I have been to . Paula and everyone there are the nicest people in the world. always helping you find what you need what for what you can afford. great with dogs also.I never leave unhappy please give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Their 'loyalty' program takes the term to the extreme of the word. I just found out that after spending hundreds and hundreds of dollars at this place, I lost all of my accrued rewards points because I switched dispensaries when they didn't have the product I needed. The explanation I got was that it's a loyalty program and that I need to be loyal to them to keep the points. I don't know any program that works like that, unless if you are told at the time of signing up (which I wasn't). I'm not going to lie, I switched away from Earthmed because they didn't have the product I needed but I've stayed away for a few months since I switched because of how much of a dump it is. The people are super friendly and nice to deal with the but place always looks like it needs maintenance (the ceiling seemed to always be leaking and there's never enough light). On top of everything now, they have imposed an 1/8th per strain per limit (which could possibly be illegal due to the Illinois rules about access) so the one product they have that works wonders for me, I can only get an 1/8th of.

They don't appear to be advertising that Earthmed now limits the MEDICAL patient to no more than two of any one item. I called ahead of time to see if they had 10 of what I wanted (a months supply) and they happily said yes on the phone, only to surprise me when I arrived to tell me I could only buy two of the item. Owners changed the buy rules and they don't share that info until you're there. Thanks Earthmed for putting the patient LAST!!

Today was the third time my order was cancelled because they are out of stock. I guess I have to go back to the streets to buy my weed. I liked being able to pick what I wanted and they used to offer a nice selection now its hit or miss.

So far so good, the place is good, not to busy. The products have been good, I had just one issue with one cart but Earthmed took care of me right away and I got order fixed. Can't complain. Good service and happy people.

The owners are limiting how much you can purchase so that they have stock for recreational users in Jan. This place used to be ok but I'll be looking for a new dispensary soon.

I guess I was spoiled as a medical patient. It used to be a very pleasant experience. Now it’s stressful. The staff seemed stressed. They are working their tails off. The selection is so bad now too. I understand that there is a need to make money, but I feel like medical patients kinda got the shaft.

My first Medical Dispensary in Illinois, I used to love going all the time but currently it has seemed like they care too much about going recreational leaving medical patients in the dust. I have not seen an item on sale for months and they claim due to state wide shortages they cannot distribute more than 2 products. The flower selection is slim-pickens, with one or two strains above 20% THC level. It is hard to even be properly medicated with such a slim selection :(

They continue to cancel my pick up orders, total BS. Horrible service, looking to switch stores as a result.

I liked how EarthMed was previously. As a medical patient, I feel that I’m not longer a priority and the prices are astronomical and entirely unaffordable. I’ve essentially stopped shopping at EarthMed since the quality service became nonexistent over the last year, the menu was sparse, and prices became over doubled. The parking is also trash. I’ve been a patient since nearly their opening and... I’m incredibly disappointed with what they’ve become. Last year, I was able to purchase an ounce for $250, now it’s $460. The average person cannot afford that nonsense. People are growing their own and turning back to purchasing illegally because we cannot afford our medicine. Keyword being medicine. The location is out of the way and a lengthy drive. I chose EarthMed for very specific reasons and I no longer feel as if they are upholding their initial standards, beliefs, and protocols. Kinda morphing into big pharma here and causing more harm than good. I cannot afford my medicine and EarthMed has done nothing to better service their patients. I’m entirely disappointed and I’ve been considering switching dispensaries for over a year now. There’s no desire to return to EarthMed; I no longer even get to interact with my favorite employees that were sure to provide me with proper assistance. There is no longer any personal assistance readily available, the place is a clusterfuck, there’s constant shouting, and I’ve personally been met with aggression by workers. Everything EarthMed once was is gone. I do not like what it has become.

This is my favorite dispensary. I've been to 7/8. They have an awesome staff and location. Their menu of ounces and sale 1/8ths ($40) is the largest I've found and is not only a great price but great product as well. They also offer all of the premium products and have a great selection from all the major companies (atraxia, cresco, gti, revolution). I highly recommend this place and continue to be a happy customer. They also have military/disability discounts and a loyalty program. Can't beat it!
