Curaleaf - Worth (Recreational)

I've been a medical customer at this location since well before legalization. I tip graciously (10-20 dollars per weekly/biweekly visit). I respect customer facing roles because I understand how hard it is to work in the service industry. Today will be the last day I come any windy city cannabis store. At 6pm after placing my order I was held up in traffic after work. i called them at 6:10 to ask if they could stay open an additional 5 minutes since my gps told me thats when id arrive since they close at 7:00. the person I spoke with said "yes come as soon as you can". I arrived at 7:02. I called the store and someone who may or may not have been the same person said in a very snobby condenscending tone "we close at 7:00." I explained the situation and she said "our system shuts down at 7 and theres nothing I can do." After a brief pause I explain i just drove an hour to get there but she did not relent. i considered arguing how it was that a cash only facility could have a "system shut down" but I understood it didnt matter. I started to put my wallet away and sure enough a young lady I had dealt with on several ocassions in the past was handing something to someone, out of the side door directly infront of my car. I called to her. She recognized me and called out my name. again I explained the situation but gave me the same line about "the system". She followed up with "if I knew ahead of time I could do something" I explained I did call ahead. she added that the person I spoke with it was just a answering service person and no one at the store... at that point I left. Im still trying to figure out where I could find a carrier pigeon fast enough to ask the store to stay open. additionally why does the answering machine ask what location to call in the automated prompt if it doesnt matter anyway.... its december 23rd... they close at 4pm tommorow because christmas eve. Ill be at work until 6pm. Again Im a true blue medical patient. i rely on it. This is only one of the many stories I could tell about the questionable bs that been goin on since the change. I've stayed because about 70% of the time things go well despite the price and nonsense policies... but tonight was rough and Christmas will be rougher.

The curbside is dreadfully slow. Not sure what there doing in there, rec customers walk in and right out while we sit in our cars for 20-25 min 🤷‍♂️. Some improvements and upgrades are needed plus those holes in the medical curbside parking lot are going to damage a car. Hoping Curaleaf taking over improves this place immensely it needs it. 3 stars is being generous.

Stopped in here right when I got my card to get a feel for the dispensary experience and I really appreciated how nice and helpful everyone was. I ended up registering at Justice, but if I was closer to Worth i'd be happy to register there.

Went there with my caretaker and although there were only four other customers inside of here every single employee who thought he was just “ tagging along” as a rec patient with no order tried to make him sit outside. Boarded up windows since the may 31 riots, it was the last week of august when we went. Front desk told us we had to tell people that he was a registered caretaker and they would allow us to stay. Front desk was super helpful in aigning up and even assisting their own cowerkers when they were freed up. Six attempts at kicking my CT out and we both finally made it to checkout. There were three cashiers. There was one other customer in the room. The female cashier asked my CT To leave then acknowledged his CT Status. Our cashier went to go get our items and the third cashier over rode the females allowance and forced my CT To exit the building due to how “crowded ”it was. Our cashier came back, apologized, was friendly and polite. I dont shop without my caretaker there. He has the knowledge behind strains and products that i greatly lack. We came from Earth Med Addison to try WC Worth and probably wont be back.Every other dispensary we had been to displayed pieces available for purchase in glass boxes or counters/ shelves. WC kept theirs very hidden and out of plain site behind the counter. And it was very limited. 2/3 of the staff were rude and abrasive. Not super knowledgeable of product or process. Very disappointed. Id give curbside pickup a try before i completely cross it off the list but so far this dispensary has not impressed me.

Windy City cannabis has the most locations in Illinois So they can provide the best prices! if windy city is not you're selected dispensary you are getting overcharged and need to switch before the 420 sales end. ‪

Been here...6 times now? My go to. Right down the street. Always friendly, knowledgeable staff, never a super long wait (even if you don’t pre order, which I do now.) Love this place!!!

How do you get a fake cartridge wedding cake 1gram brownish red terrible it's like I bought it off the streets I'm getting it tested to see what was in there no cart should make you feel sick ever.How do I trust this won't happen again spend to much to be given bad stuff

This place never gets good flower or the carts/concentrates that actually help me medically are sold out fast to recreational patients and it's been over a month now I haven't been able to get much at all. They even put something like "Cronuts" on the rec menu even though they don't get you high but help my stomach issues just to sell them. Haven't seen those since either here...

Just wanna say what another great experience I had here today. James was very helpful to get me my meds and stay with in my budget.

Nothing to dislike, extremely helpful and security guards terrific since January.

For my first time in a dispensary, I was highly impressed. The staff was very welcoming and my “bud-tender” Ed was very helpful. Understanding, knowledgeable, and patient. The whole experience was positive. Looking forward to being in less pain and better spirits.

Jordan and James were fabulous. They really take the time to listen to your needs and explain their products. You can tell they're very knowledgeable about the different strains and I was impressed with their customer service.
