I met with the nurse practitioner, Ms. Seabrook. My appointment was for 9am. She came on the telehealth call around 9:15 or so. Later, I read in the follow-up info that the appointment was at 9:20am. Not a big deal; perhaps they just want you to arrive early kind of like at a physical office. Nurse practitioner asked what issues I was seeking help with. She also asked if I'd ever used mari before... maybe asking if I'd used it for pain before??? She was polite, courteous, and didn't lollygag around - straight forward and to the point. I received my follow-up information containing my certification for the use of the products shortly after the telehealth appointment. I had no issues other than the unexpected wait at the beginning of the appointment, but even that was not a big deal... just something to be aware of.

The process went smoothly. My original appointment was for 2 weeks and they contacted me saying that they had an availability the next day so I took it. The Nurse Practitioner was on exactly at the time of my appointment and was very knowledgeable and helpful. Once she stated that she is sending in my recommendation letter she stated that I will get an email to forward my signed form and license photo to an email address. I'm waiting on my signed certificate/ card now. They said it will be within 30 days so I certainly hope so. I could use some pain relief and help sleeping again at night.

I liked the attentiveness of the representative and she was very understanding of my feelings, regarding the frustration I am feeling about not getting adequate treatment through traditional pain management. I am grateful that this company delves deep into the patient history to accurately understand the needs of the patient, without the denial that patients really have unbearable pain. The people are very easy to deal with, very accommodating, very responsive. But there are glitches in the online process. I set the appointment, paid the fee and completed the intake form. Subsequently I received messages telling me that I had not completed the intake form and not paid the fee. I was required to fill out a new intake form, because the form changed for 2022. I had to prove that I'd paid the fee. I had to send driver's licenses multiple times. I will say this, Virginia Medical Marijuana Card site is better than Virginia Department of Health Professionals, which is a gludgy mess.

Dealing with VirginiaMarijuanacard.com was painlessd, quick and easy. There is one area that could be improved. Everything thing on the site said after I register and make payment, they would send me an email with instrucions on how to log in to the interview with the medical professional. I never received such an email, so I called and asked. It turns out the email with the log in information is sent on the day of the scheduled interview. Had I known that, it would have saved me time looking for log in info. and calling them.

I have done everything that I have been asked to do and paid all the money they have asked which was not easy to do but I am still waiting for approval or denial, and it has been over a month. This does not make since at all. Take the money right away give the product right away also.
