I too was a first time cannabis buyer and the experience was excellent and worry free thanks to the wonderful staff. They were compassionate about my medical condition teaching me what strains would work best for me.

Great place. Line was long but it was only the third day since rec came to Illinois. Staff was great, Zach with a beard helped me out with getting my stuff, there was a hiccup with the machine but hey it's still new and my chillum was free because of it. So I definitely recommend checking them out and I will be returning often.

I do not give 5 stars cause there is always room for improvement. I love the people who work here their a work in progress like me...trying to figure out what works for each client has to be hard...So the product is good quality they do not always have stocked what I am looking for. But I always love what I get. Price is an issue for those of us on a tight budget with limited income. Put hopefully as the nation gets more accepting of the products medicinal value that will change..and recreational will be looked up less poorly. Atmosphere is great very friendly staff, knowledgeable about product and have been on point with recommendations. Thanks so much for helping thru the process.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. From the security director while waiting in line to the bud tenders when we got in 3 hours and 16 minutes later. Worth the wait. Excited to see what their menu expands to.

So I never leave reviews but after my second horrible experience at HCI I felt I need to share my experience. First, I get the need for the bus and why we have to use but it can be a hassle. The first bad experience was when I arrived I parked but the buses were running late so I decided to walk. The website says I can so I did. No where did is say that I needed a yellow ticket and the parking lot workers watched me walk out without letting anyone know. So when I arrived the security told me I had to walk back and get a ticket. I showed him my info and told him where I parked but he couldn't of been bothered to have an adult conversation. So I walked back and rode the bus. I was about an hour past my time but it finally happened.
Today was the final straw. This order I did not receive the QR code, I looked in spam and all that but no email. I texted and emailed HCI but no response untill I had to get a little snippy with them. So I got around the QR code and showed them my ID and came inside. When arriving to the counter I was told I couldn't purchase anything due to my expired ID. I told them that was not true and I even stated I've been here 4 separate occasions with the expired ID. So no sale, I was furious because I drove an hour to get here, wait 30 mins on the bus, get all the way inside to be told I couldn't buy anything. What made me even more made is they don't tell anyone!! So, I texted the hotline and was told that was wrong and I could purchase the product. They said to come back and shop with us :). I received this message after I have already arrived back and my car and this just sent me even more into a rage. So now we have two employees saying two different things. Hope, the texter told me they were not taking expired IDs before but we are now. Which I find funny because I've been there before with the dame expired ID and was never questioned. With the rude security, high prices, lack of knowledge, I've decided to take my business elsewhere.

What an awesome experience, from the workers attending the line passing out the menu, to our cashier Tomi, every step highly exceeded my expectations. The staff as we went along offered to answer any questions we had. The products for sale were not overcrowded and easily displayed for viewing/purchasing. During check out Tomi thoroughly explained what we were interested in buying and went above to make me feel comfortable with my choice. I will be returning as often as needed. I personally thank the staff at HCI in Collinsville for a great beginning.

Overcharged. And won't answer emails! We went on 3-15. Bought 6 packs of mints between myself and my husband. They were marked $25 on the live menu. We were charged $29 for each one. I thought the total seemed high, but didn't think to look at prices on the receipt until we got home. I even double checked the price in live menu when I got home, still said $25.
I emailed though a link on the website, for 2 days with no answer. I found another link that allowed me to email directly, they finally answered and asked for pictures of the receipts. I immediately sent what they asked for. They haven't responded since 7 days ago. It's been over week and many, many, many unanswered emails ago.
I know it's been a crazy week. But they have not stopped selling to make more money. I can only assume they have stolen my money and plan to keep it! That was $20, plus 28% taxes on that.

Improperly canceled peoples orders today. Everyone who came for the 5-6pm slot got completely screwed over. They sent out an alert to tell people they were closing at 5 at 5:09pm. What company does that to people? doesn't matter that I drove hours I guess? whoever made the decision to send an alert that late needs to reevaluate their career, this is not how a professional company operates. not to mention they purchased a property without enough parking or square footage so people have to walk or take a bus and then sit in the cold for hours before entering the building.. you would think they would spend the few hundred $'s to provide an outdoor heater since its their fault for purchasing such a poor facility for their business but nope just stand in the cold. I will never come back to this fly by night dispensary and I highly suggest no one else waste their time. plenty of other dispensaries and any extra time driving will be made up by not dealing with their lack of efficiency.

Hi, I wanted to wait tell I went a couple times before I give the best review posable. First off I'm a medically retired Marine. I have disabilities that require specific treatments. I've been a patient from Washington st. since 2010 started working in the industry not long after that. I must say from both my times I've gone you where pretty good. Both times I went you had strains high in lemone that I needed. And being able to put my order in and go pick it up later is so helpful. Then when I got there the guy was kind enough to listen to why I needed the one you didn't have in stock and was able to find me another lemone one. Ya I feel for those that had there orders messed up earlier. I also feel ISP's pain for that because this was experiencing the situation we got going on now and definitely it's going to have issues. And about the high price, well lets think here. Do I wan't to pay a rec. price for medicine I need now until I can get it here and they give me military,🤔. I swear going through and reading all thees negative reviews sounds like I'm smack dab in the middle of a bunch of conspiracy theorist and millennials whining about not getting instant gratification.

Always love the atmosphere and service within this whole place and always love how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is. Tomi always knows what's she's talking about and is super nice. I tell all my people about HCI collinsville and they need to check it out and ask for Tomi!!!

The curbside has issues that need to be resolved. The network does not reach outside. I have had my order delayed multiple times while troubleshooting is being done. Fix the problem!

Use to be a good place to go now they never have anything that your looking for. Called during construction on a Wednesday told me they would be open the next day (Thursday) drove an hour to get there and they were closed. Dont seem to care about helping people so much as they are about collecting your money which is most places now days, very unprofessional. your local gas station probably has more of a selection

Better than expected. We went on day 5 of legalization. Only waited 1:52(I timed it) from - the end of the line, a block away, down the sidewalk and back to the street corner - to the checkout line. the nosy PoPo was in there giggling at all the stoners and making people nervous, but other than those weirdos, we had a good time. Traffic was enthused. Friendly toots were heard every couple of minutes. Everyone left the dispensary with smiles. Perma-grins way before they got back to the car, it was great! The wait was worth it.
I read in the newspaper that this place had made plans for months and were busy preparing for legalization. They were one of the few shops able to ride the rush. Will definitely be back and will definitely recommend.

This place sucks, avoid at all costs.
Average 2-4 hour wait outside in the cold,
surrounded by cigarette smokers with bad music blaring.
This is after having to wait for required shuttle bus.
Then, virtually everything from online menu is out of stock.
Worst dispensary ever by far. Update your damn menu online.
